Going to have my 'Daily Scoop' in a while. Hehe, work lah. Filling in for Jerren because that guy is sick (again) Haha, kinda funny (awkward-funny) when I had to work with him previously, but funnier when I had to work with him AND ling because I knew she'd be watching and then probably laughing (hong kong style) inside.

Haha, it was a horrible night. All thanks to me and my thoughts and my insecurities. For now, it's no more thinking, because thinking gets us no where. No more sappy novels. no more no more no more no more no more (5 times)

Hello home, you seem quieter than before. I foresee myself staying out more than ever because having dinner alone is like having a bag of Ruffles gone bad. But then again, we're never black and white. Some days I'm a Melanie who wants to be alone. On other days a Melanie who needs the girls. Or a Melanie who needs pizza or ice cream or just a Melanie who wants to bum around coffee bean with you without coffee or with you anywhere. Yesterday I was a sickening Melanie who couldn't stop moping around and whining. Haha, I don't like that Melanie. Boo that Melanie, boo. So anyway I bumped my head against the bed railing while talking to kopet so, (ladies and gentlemen) I got my just desert.

Alright I should get some rest now. more ice cream to be made today. andddd I think I'm getting better. hahaha. No more massacre of cones or of kookie monster or of bowls (i hope)

dinner was goooooooood. aunty beatrice and her daughter aunty bertha came after our steamboat with uncle samuel's family. Mabel's taking her basic theory march1, a day before me. hehe. she says it's easier to pass driving tests at bt batok driving centre as compared to her school at ubi because of the roads. haha, i say, yayyyyyy. mabel's into her second year at NTU, smart girl and really really nice. the other time our family met, we were talking non-stop about korean dramas.

aunty beatrice is so cute. she's so bubbly for someone her age, and i tell you, she really sets the energy going anywhere she goes. aunty bertha is so smart and comical. both of them are so cartoon. i like cartoon. hehe. she asked me how much the daily scoop pays me, and offered to pay me more if i work as her receptionist at her practice in gleneagles. hahaha, she's so cute la aiyo. she was talking about the SDU and how they use 'recycled man' (read: man who have been divorced/ dumped) and she was being so drama about it hahahaha, her experiences I mean. I say, i really cannot be bothered about the SDU , but she's so interesting to listen to/watch. when I opened the gate for her, the first sound she made was 'uhhhhh!' (think slow but loud exclamation) and then she asked 'are you melissa or melanie?' hhahaha, then she said the last time she saw me was when i was this tall (think 60cm) ahahha. i like aunty bertha :D

so anyway, i offered to treat mummy to a movie later tonight (the other 2 monkies will have to pay for their own tickets because they have ang-paos hhehehe i love my monkie sisters) because I am 'in demand by a doctor'. i hope we get to watch 'notes on a scandal' and not get persuaded by marilyn ho and end up facing the oversized sillicon butt of eddie murphy for 2 whole hours.

hahahaha. okay, shut up Melanie Ho. it's been a happy monday, and 'chu er' of the cheenese new year.
and oh, it's been a whole day of eating yet again. no complaints. i love food.
and i love dee.

So, it's past 5 in the afternoon and the steamboat's been warming up since 4.30. haha, Aunty Magaret and Uncle Samuel are lateeeeeeeee. Maybe we should steam-boat them instead. haha! nah.

il-divo's playing full blast downstairs because mummy loves them. she says's they're handsome. I will not disagree. haha.

I'm hungry! we had breako at ECP this morning and guess what. after breako, we visited our old estate in Bedok Ria.

*grinssssss.

truth is, I love to see you happy. I wish I could wear you proudly like a scout putting on his very first well-earned badge. I wish I could, without fearing the lashing of words from so many people who matter.

I'm proud of you. I don't have to show you off, but I'm proud of you. There are so many things I've said that you probably consider said just for the sake of saying them. But really, I wouldn't have stuck with you throughout all these while if none of them were true.

sigh. there, I've finally said what I've wanted to say for a long time. and now I feel so bare. I'm nekkid! hahaha..

You know something? I know I can't make you feel perfect. I know I can't make you feel lucky, feel blessed, or feel even close to complete. Haha, kinda tears me apart to say all this. But I just want you to know that I've really been trying my best. I know I've screwed up more than once. And there's no excuse.

No one else comes close.
I just hope you'll grow to believe me all over again.
