THIS IS MY LOT, BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS.
The Day The Pictures Do The Talking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() /PS: My dear Thais, quit rioting already, please? TonFlyingHigh!11:57 PM ***
![]() ![]() ![]() Sometimes I forget that the world does not just revolve around me. Sometimes we all forget to be thankful. Sometimes we forget to realise how blessed we already are. Everyone has their fair share of problems, but half the world is crying out inside because they do not have parents, food, water, or even a few more years to call their own- yet some still get by happy. We don't have to be saints or good samaritans do we? If we could be a little more grateful and less self-absorbed in our puny world of ups and downs, a little child out there would smile to know that someone else is better off, more fortunate, happy, and contented, all at once. So, FIGHTING! ![]() ![]() TonFlyingHigh!1:52 AM *** Monday, March 27, 2006
![]() When all I hear sometimes is shouting and fits of rage in the murky background, for a moment, I hold that slight glimmer of hope that someone out there, without being told, would know I need a hug, or just words that remind me that nothing matters, and life is, after all, beautiful. And I get it from you, a stranger. But for now, I don't need you to tell me why you're here. Just stay- because you actually...make me smile. TonFlyingHigh!10:21 PM *** not going mush, but; Don't you know how much one real smile of yours means to me? I said this eons back, but it's still pretty much the same: If I could wish for anything, I would wish for that. Just be happy, when life's too short to fly so low when we can be flying higher. Our basest beggers Are in the poorest thing superfluous; Allow not nature more than nature needs, Man's life is cheap as beast's." -King Lear, Act II Sc ii "When we are born we cry that we are come To this great stage of fools." - King Lear, Act IV Sc vi "Men must endure Their going hence even as their coming hither. Ripeness is all." -Edgar, Act V Sc ii "The weight of this sad time we must obey Speak what we feel, not what we ought to say, The oldest hath borne most; we that are young Shall never see so much, nor live so long." -Edgar, Act V Sc iii And as for me, to the Literature gallows I go! Everything to me He's more than a story More than words on a page of history He's the air that I breath The water I thirst for And the ground beneath my feet He's everything, everything to me We're living in uncertain times And more and more I find that i'm aware Of just how fragile life can be I want to tell the world I found A love that turned my life around They need to know that they can taste and see Now everyday I'm praying Just to give my heart away I want to live for Jesus So that someone else might see that He is... TonFlyingHigh!11:15 AM *** Sunday, March 19, 2006 The River in March Now the river is rich, but her voice is low. It is her Mighty Majesty the sea Travelling among the villages incognito. Now the river is poor. No song, just a thin mad whisper. The winter floods have ruined her. She squats between draggled banks, fingering her rags and rubbish. And now the river is rich. A deep choir. It is the lofty clouds, that work in heaven, Going on their holiday to the sea. The river is poor again. All her bones are showing. Through a dry wig of bleached flotsam she peers up ashamed From her slum of sticks. Now the river is rich, collecting shawls and minerals. Rain brought fatness, but she takes ninety-nine percent Leaving the fields just one percent to survive on. And now she is poor. Now she is East wind sick. She huddles in holes and corners. The brassy sun gives her a headache. She has lost all her fish. And she shivers. But now once more she is rich. She is viewing her lands. A hoard of king-cups spills from her folds, it blazes, it cannot be hidden. A salmon, a sow of solid silver, Bulges to glimpse it. - Ted Hughes This is it, isn't it? Fullness and richness of life amidst death and change. (: TonFlyingHigh!9:50 PM *** Saturday, March 18, 2006

"And all the people in the street that I'll never get to meet If these tracks don't bend somehow" Was stoning earlier today, and a thought dawned upon me: What if I knew Darth? I know this is REALLY random, but, yeah, what if? Would things be different back here, back on my side? I'm not someone who lives by what-if's but nah, I have to let this one pass. So the point of this entry? Haha, I have no-i-dea. TAG!!! you're all 'it'! (: TonFlyingHigh!9:45 PM *** Lisa bought a jigsaw puzzle and completed it in 6 months! She was deeeeelighted and uber pleased with herself. Her friend asked why and she said " hello! cause it said on the jigsaw box 'for 2-4 years' " HAHAHAHA. So? Is it funnier when I type it out as opposed to when I actually say it? Hmmm, I still insist that my jokes are funny. Funny okay. I feel like pulling all my hair out, the thought of having to go through four trying days of common tests, in a word = AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alone-time seems foreign to me, but I'm starting to like it. (is it a sign of growing up? uh-oh.) But of course nothing beats having company. I guess it all depends on your mood. I want a holiday, a holiday in its truest form. I like surprises *beams* Hello afternoon nap! TonFlyingHigh!12:12 PM *** Monday, March 13, 2006 I'm no one funny, I can't make you laugh. I get boring, and I'm really not cute. I probably won't make great company and I'm really not all that lovable/adorable/sweet. I probably don't give you the warm fuzzy feeling. So why are you here, when this is me; nothing more, nothing less? TonFlyingHigh!1:18 AM *** Friday, March 10, 2006
![]() Beautiful. TonFlyingHigh!2:16 PM *** Thursday, March 09, 2006 I finally rented 'City of Angels', and it's 12.21 in the morning- I just finished watching it, so here's one of my favourite OST from the film. On a side note? Hmmm..I wonder how it feels like to fall for an angel. Iris - Goo Goo Dolls And I'd give up forever to touch you 'Cause I know that you feel me somehow You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be And I don't want to go home right now And all I can taste is this moment And all I can breathe is your life 'Cause sooner or later it's over I just don't want to miss you tonight And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming Or the moment of truth in your lies When everything feels like the movies Yeah, you'd bleed just to know you're alive And I don't want the world to see me Cuz I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am. "I don't understand why God let us meet when we can never be together." "And when they ask me what I liked best about living, I'll tell them it was you." "The only person you need to be is yourself."
If I were to be so lucky as to enjoy a movie marathon any time soon, these films would be the ones I'd want on my list. Don't you find Crazy/Beautiful, Save The Last Dance, The Virgin Suicides and Elizabeth Town's posters exceptionally nice? mmmmm, I want to watch some movies now now now! TonFlyingHigh!5:58 PM *** Monday, March 06, 2006 WeiB der Kuckuck. Why do people have to taint something so pure, beautiful and simple to a colour so gross, repulsive and plainly ugly? Whether a relationship between a father and his child (pertaining to the recent appalling murder, biological or not) or between two lovers and right down to basic friendship- these links deserve to be given justice. Don't say you love your child, then walk right out of his life even before you see him grow up, become a man, graduate and start a family. Don't say you love your girl and lust after another chick. If you can't be humane about it, you don't deserve to be human at all. Because, what makes us human? Our brains? No. Our hearts, how we feel so much for something and our ability to put thought into action, thought into words, thought into reality. Come to think of it, in terms of our physical needs we're all beasts clothed in civilisation, which marks us apart from the animals of the air, land and sea. Take away our clothes, homes, work and what have you? Nothing but the basic necessities no more than that of animals. Still? We're different from them. Animals can kill their offspring and live with it (without the slightest tinge of guilt) but we can't && animals don't practise monogamy either. It's what we establish between one another that makes us human, isn't it? And it's how we handle these relationships that make us humane. So why do some 'people'(though not a dime a dozen) creep out of their dressings of humanity into those of beasts'? WeiB der Kuckuck. Only heaven knows. TonFlyingHigh!8:27 PM *** Wednesday, March 01, 2006 How Far Is Heaven? ![]() Heaven..does not always have to be that place, that paradise we go home to when we bid this world good-bye. Indubitably, that's Heaven in its full, genuine form. But, heaven to me can be a state of mind. A boring dreary place does not always seem as much a bore when you're with the company you love- you seem to get soaked up in this company, and how mundane the surroundings seem to be don't matter anymore. And when that happens, you're flying high, aren't you? I'm beaming. Beaming to have my piece of heaven again, trigger happy to have a taste of something so beautiful, something like Heaven. Thanks guys, for all your love. So if you ask me 'how far is heaven?' I'll tell you it isn't far; it all depends on how wide you'd have your mind opened. Smile like you mean it, people.
